Trash & the City – lecture by Zuzanna Zajac
Zuzanna Zajac adresses the aspects of circular economy, urban mining and material recycling. Thus she relates it to our social, economic and political structure. In todays world, where our status quo is being shifted and we are faced with the rapid development of technology, globalisation and diversity, it is key to encourage bold, unprecedented attitudes and ideas about our future. Through raising awareness of this issue, in a form of seminars, lectures and exhibitions, Zuzanna Zajac thrives to increase the feeling of responsibility among the public as well as create a bridge between the – still very guarded and elitist – world of scientific research into the field of resource management, and our society. Increasing transparency will hopefully lead to better mutual understanding and less tension between various stakeholders.
Lecture starts at 4 p.m.
