Ausstellung
Die Ausstellung erforscht Aktivismus und Cunt Art, zu übersetzen auch mit Mösenkunst oder Fotzenkunst. Humorvoll, verspielt und überzeichnet setzt sie sich mit anatomischem und medizinischem Wissen und Terminologie auseinander. Sie bewegt sich im Diskurs von Körperpolitiken. Welche Körper dürfen gezeigt werden? Über welche Körper wird gesprochen? Im Fokus stehen die Körper der Vulvarines, eine Denkfigur für jene Menschen, die eine Vulva haben. Es geht vor allem um jenen Teil ihrer Körper, dessen alleiniger Zweck der Befriedigung und Erzeugung von Lust und Begehren ist. Die Ausstellung versucht einen Raum zu schaffen, einen Safer Space, in dem moralische Vorstellungen und Scham über Sexualität und sexuelle Bedürfnisse verworfen werden können.

Exhibition
The exhibition explores activism and cunt art by bringing to life giant vulvas and sculptures composed of 3D printed realistic clitoris. Amina uses humour, hyperbole, and medical knowledge to continue or initiate the conversation on which types of bodies are allowed to be seen or talked about. They do so by focusing on parts of the vulvarine anatomy strictly relegated to the production of pleasure (for the vulvarine themselves) and further use humour to re-name or re-claim moralistic or anatomical terminology related to those bodies and body parts. They also tackle sex education (cliteracy) using art as a vehicle to inform, engage, and involve vulvarines and all others.

About Amina L.
Amina L. is currently studying time-based and interactive media with a focus on media theory at the university of arts and industrial design in Linz. Having a background as videographer, they are working within but also outside the audiovisual. They strongly believe in radical queer feminism and consider themselves an activist and educator. Their political affections are clearly shown in their works. For their installations they primarily use digital formats of moving pictures as well as interactive interfaces. Focused on the question how art can impact society they try to create spaces in which people can reflect on how they are orientated in society.

Amina L. studiert derzeit Zeitbasierte und Interaktive Medien mit einem Fokus auf Medientheorien an der Kunstuniversität Linz. Als Videojournalist_in arbeitet sie freischaffend hinter der Kamera und am Schnittplatz. Amina ist strenggläubige Queer-Feminist_in und Aktivist_in. Ihre politische Einstellung kommt in ihren künstlerischen Arbeiten zum Ausdruck. Ihre Installationen bestehen meist digitale Formate von bewegten Bildern, verknüpft mit analogen Medien, die zur interaktiven Schnittstelle werden. Derzeit geht Amina der Frage nach, welchen Einfluss künstlerisches Arbeiten auf die Veränderung der Gesellschaft hat und erforscht dies durch das Schaffen von Räumen, die zu Interaktion und zum Austausch auffordern können.
